Prerequisites

If you haven't already, follow the initial steps of the Getting Started guide:

  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the tap-asana extractor to your project using 
    meltano add
     : 
    2. meltano add extractor tap-asana --variant lambtron
  2. Configure the tap-asana settings using 
    meltano config
     : 
    3. meltano config tap-asana set --interactive
  3. Test that extractor settings are valid using 
    meltano test
     : 
    4. meltano test tap-asana

  • Environment variable: TAP_ASANA_CLIENT_ID

Client Id for your application from Asana

(client_secret)

  • Environment variable: TAP_ASANA_CLIENT_SECRET

Client Secret for your application from Asana

(redirect_uri)

  • Environment variable: TAP_ASANA_REDIRECT_URI

The redirect URI for oauth flow completion, this is provided by Asana during oauth setup

(refresh_token)

  • Environment variable: TAP_ASANA_REFRESH_TOKEN
