Getting Started

Prerequisites

If you haven't already, follow the initial steps of the Getting Started guide:

  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the tap-google-sheets extractor to your project using 
    meltano add
     : 
    2. meltano add extractor tap-google-sheets --variant matatika
  2. Configure the tap-google-sheets settings using 
    meltano config
     : 
    3. meltano config tap-google-sheets set --interactive
  3. Test that extractor settings are valid using 
    meltano test
     : 
    4. meltano test tap-google-sheets

Optionally change the name of the output file or table. By default that tap will use the file name of your Google Sheet.

Child Sheet Name (child_sheet_name)

  • Environment variable: TAP_GOOGLE_SHEETS_CHILD_SHEET_NAME

Optionally pick a different sheet within your Google Sheet to sync data from. By default the tap will sync data from the first visible sheet in your Google Sheet.
